At IdrisCooks, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available and the process for requesting them.

Digital Products Policy

All products purchased through IdrisCooks are digital goods, including:

  • PDF Recipe Collections - Downloadable recipe compilations in PDF format

  • Recipe Access (Lifetime) - One-time payment for unlimited access to all recipes

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are generally final once the product has been delivered or access has been granted.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

1. Technical Issues (Within 7 Days)

If you experience technical problems that prevent you from accessing or using your purchase, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided:

  • You have contacted our support team

  • We were unable to resolve the issue

  • The issue is on our end (not device/browser compatibility)

2. Duplicate Purchases (Within 48 Hours)

If you accidentally purchase the same product multiple times, contact us within 48 hours for a refund of the duplicate purchase.

3. Billing Errors (Anytime)

If you were charged incorrectly or multiple times due to a payment processing error, we will issue a full refund regardless of the time elapsed.

4. Non-Delivery (Within 24 Hours)

If you did not receive access to your purchased product within 24 hours and we cannot provide access, you are eligible for a full refund.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • You have already downloaded or accessed the purchased content

  • You changed your mind after accessing the content

  • You did not read the product description before purchasing

  • The product does not meet your expectations (unless it significantly differs from the description)

  • More than 7 days have passed since your purchase (except for billing errors)

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria above, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Support

Email us at support@idriscooks.com with the subject line "Refund Request"

Step 2: Provide Information

Include the following details:

  • Your order/payment ID

  • Email address used for purchase

  • Date of purchase

  • Reason for refund request

  • Screenshots or description of any technical issues (if applicable)

Step 3: Review Process

We will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond via email with our decision.

Step 4: Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is issued.

Refund Method

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase (credit card, debit card, etc.).

Processing Time

  • IdrisCooks Processing: 2-3 business days for review

  • Stripe Processing: 5-7 business days to return funds

  • Bank Processing: Additional 2-5 business days depending on your bank

Total timeline: Approximately 10-15 business days from approval to funds appearing in your account.

Access Revocation

Upon issuing a refund, your access to the purchased content will be immediately revoked. This includes:

  • Removal of PDF download access

  • Revocation of recipe access privileges

  • Deletion of any saved preferences related to the purchase

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund or account credit instead of a full refund. This is decided on a case-by-case basis and may apply when:

  • You have used a significant portion of the service

  • You experienced issues with only part of your purchase

  • A fair compromise can be reached

Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

  • Additional fees charged to you by your bank

  • Longer resolution time

We are committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly. Most refund requests are resolved within 48 hours when handled directly.
